Also known as one of the “Six Little Dragons” of Hangzhou that have made the city a leading tech hub. Unlike Neuralink, the company creates bionic limbs using non-invasive brain technologies without surgical implants. Among the company’s many products includes an intelligent bionic hand that combines BCI with AI algorithms that requires no surgery and can detect neural and muscular signals. So far, the technology is tailored for paraplegics or those who are handicapped. In January 2026, the company filed for a Hong Kong IPO, targeting a valuation of several hundred million dollars.

Summary: Arguably China’s leading BCI company, which conducts R&D in Shanghai and production in Jiangxi. More similar to Neuralink than BrainCo in that it creates implants that are surgically inserted to patient’s brains. Products integrates electrodes, chips, packaging, operating systems, and wireless communication systems. After completing over 50 clinical trials, the company has developed a fully implanted, fully wireless, and fully functional BCI system. Patients with NeuroXess’s BCI systems have been able to conduct web browsing, gaming, and control of eternal devices using their minds. The company has also scaled up manufacturing capabilities and is now able to produce tens of thousands of systems a year.
