Subsidiaries/Affiliates: N/A
Summary: The first company in Asia that has designed and developed a domestically produced short-medium-range commercial jet, the C909, that is intended to compete with Boeing and Airbus. So far the C909 has been delivered to over 10 airlines and has 186 planes in service, operated on over 860 flight routes. Has yet to be approved to fly in Europe or North America, but has entered Asian markets like Indonesia, Laos, and Vietnam, and operates 25 overseas routes. Now operates a business jet version of the C909. Likely to grow market share in China but unlikely to be flown in Western markets due to safety concerns.
